Rehabilitation
Our rehabilitation centre offers physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, laser therapy and acupuncture.
Our rehabilitation services are run by Natasha Wyard, RVN, who holds a diploma in animal physiotherapy and is a member of the International Association of Animal Therapists.
We also have team members who are trained in hydrotherapy and pool water management, allowing us to offer a complete rehabilitation service for dogs and cats.
Pet hydrotherapy is extremely helpful in treating orthopaedic conditions, and aids recovery from orthopaedic surgery.
Our underwater treadmill allows dogs and cats to exercise whilst being supported by the buoyancy of the water.
Unlike swimming, this is the only form of pet hydrotherapy that actively rehabilitates walking and trotting movements within patients.
Treatment sessions are always done under the direction of a qualified veterinary surgeon.
Sessions are available by appointment, and can be complemented by physiotherapy exercises both at the centre and at home.
Drying facilities are available in the hydrotherapy room.
